Terms of Service

1. Who we are & acceptance

This site (buildwithsumit.com) and its members platform are owned and operated by Sumit Ghosh through Globussoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an Indian private limited company (“we”, “us”, “Build With Sumit”). By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

The service is intended for business users aged 18 or older. By using it you represent that you are at least 18 and that you have authority to bind any business on whose behalf you act.

3. The service

Build With Sumit provides a members community (The Automation Founders), educational content, and software tools — including Globus, a per-member AI assistant that can read data you choose to connect (such as Google Drive and Gmail) to answer questions and, on your instruction, help you act on that data. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. Some features are provided on a draft-and-review basis: the assistant proposes actions and you approve them.

4. Accounts & security

• We use passwordless sign-in (one-time email codes and/or Google sign-in). You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at sumit@globussoft.com of any unauthorized use.
• Accounts are for a single user and may not be shared or resold.

5. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

• Paid membership (The Automation Founders) is billed on a recurring subscription through Stripe. Fees and billing interval are shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for periods already started. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to infringe others’ rights;
• Attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls, or access another member’s data;
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its outputs except as expressly permitted;
• Upload malware, or submit data you have no right to share;
• Use connected Google data or the assistant to violate Google’s policies or any third party’s terms.

7. Your content & connected data

• You retain ownership of the content you submit and the data you connect. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate and improve the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Data you connect from Google is used only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
• You are responsible for having the rights to connect and process any data you bring into the service.

8. AI output — no professional advice

Globus and related features are AI systems. Their output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated and is provided for assistance only. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing output and for any action you take — including any email sent, label applied, or document created — based on it. Always confirm important actions before relying on them.

9. Third-party services

The service integrates third parties including Google, Stripe, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, SendGrid (Twilio), Apify, and GitHub. Your use of those integrations may also be governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Intellectual property

The site, brand, and non-open-source software are owned by us or our licensors. Open-source components we publish (e.g. on GitHub) are governed by their own licences. Nothing here transfers ownership of your content to us, or of our IP to you.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content or connected data, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or to comply with law. On termination, the data-deletion terms in our Privacy Policy apply.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the members area at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that venue.
